As a UX/UI designer at ExxonMobil for the past year, my experience has been both challenging and rewarding. Due to the privacy contract I signed, I'm unable to share specific details about my work. However, I can say that I've been able to work on a variety of interesting projects related to digital platforms and products.

Connect Hub

Connect Hub is an online web application designed for managing the organization and people inside ExxonMobil.

From the initial research and ideation stages, to the wireframing and prototyping phases, I worked closely with other designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that the application would meet the needs of the business and its users.

 

One of the biggest challenges we faced during the design process was creating a user-friendly interface that could manage a complex organization like ExxonMobil. We conducted extensive user research to better understand the needs and pain points of our target audience, and used this information to inform our design decisions.
 

Throughout the process, I created detailed wireframes and prototypes to test and refine our design concepts. I worked with the development team to ensure that the final product was not only visually appealing, but also highly functional and easy to use.
 

Overall, working on Connect Hub was an incredibly rewarding experience. Being involved in every step of the UX/UI design process gave me a deeper understanding of the importance of user-centered design and the impact it can have on an organization's success.

The project has undergone significant updates and improvements based on the invaluable feedback gathered during interviews and tests. Therefore, please note that the images displayed are from a previous version and may not accurately represent the current state of the project.

My work in this project involved multiple phases of the design process.

First, I participated in the initial research and ideation stages, where we identified the main goals and requirements for the application. I collaborated with other designers and stakeholders to brainstorm potential design solutions and features that would address the needs of ExxonMobil's organization.

Once we had a clearer understanding of the project requirements, I began working on wireframes and mockups to visualize the application's user interface. I created several iterations of these designs, incorporating feedback from both the design team and stakeholders.

As we moved into the prototyping stage, I created high-fidelity mockups to better illustrate how the application would look and function. I worked with the development team to ensure that the design was technically feasible and that the final product would meet the project requirements.

Throughout the design process, I also conducted usability testing to gather feedback from potential users and ensure that the application's interface was intuitive and easy to use. I incorporated this feedback into subsequent iterations of the design to improve the overall user experience.

Finally, as the project came to a close, I worked with the development team to ensure that the final product matched the design specifications and was launched successfully.

Overall, my work on Connect Hub was a collaborative effort that involved close communication with both the design and development teams. My role as a UX/UI designer was crucial in ensuring that the application was visually appealing, functional, and user-friendly, which contributed to the success of the project.
